How the math works: on we take the total raised, including the foundation's match, and divide it equally among every approved performer on the list. Every gift lifts everyone. Beyond Earth Foundation is a 501(c)(3), so gifts to the fund are tax deductible.

How it works

Simple on purpose

Performers share wishes

Any drag performer in New York State with at least 4 shows in the past year submits proof of those shows and 5 to 10 things the money would go toward, from wigs and tights to gas and groceries. Signups run , limited to the first qualified entrants.

We build the wall

Approved wishes go up on this page under each performer's drag name, or anonymously if they prefer. No addresses, no shopping links, no rankings.

You give to one fund

Once the list is set, giving opens . Every gift goes into the Holiday Wishlist Fund, and Beyond Earth Foundation matches the first dollar for dollar. The goal reflects everyone on the list, so sharing this page helps all of them.

Split equally

When giving closes, we divide the total by the number of performers and send each one the same share, in time for the holidays. Then we post the final numbers.

Rules and eligibility

Who can be on the list

We keep the rules short and the same for everyone.

To be eligible, you must

  • Be 18 or older.
  • Be a drag performer (queen, king, or any drag artist) who lives in New York State, or performs in New York State a majority of the time.
  • Have performed in drag at at least 4 shows in the past 12 months, such as public shows, brunches, pageants, fundraisers, or similar events.
  • Provide proof of those shows with your entry, for example show flyers or advertisements that list your name, event pages, or photos from the shows. Entries without proof cannot be approved.
  • Submit your own entry. One entry per performer.
  • Submit between and the deadline, .
  • The list is limited to the first qualified entrants. Entries are reviewed in the order received, and signups close early once the list is full.

Your wishlist

  • List 5 to 10 items or needs the money would go toward. Plain words are perfect, for example "a new lace front wig" or "gas to get to bookings."
  • Wishes can be for drag, for daily life, or for the people you care about. Rent, groceries, gas, and bills all count.
  • Keep it kind. No wishes that name, target, or disparage another person.
  • Nothing illegal, and no weapons, tobacco, or alcohol.
  • Your wishes appear publicly on this page under your drag name. You can choose to be listed as an anonymous performer instead.

How the money is handled

  • All gifts go to Beyond Earth Foundation's Holiday Wishlist Fund. Donors cannot direct a gift to a specific performer.
  • Beyond Earth Foundation matches donations dollar for dollar up to the first , thanks to the success of Voter's Choice NYS. The match is added to the fund before it is split.
  • On the payout date the total is divided equally among every approved performer. Everyone receives the same amount.
  • Shares are sent by PayPal or check, your choice, using the private contact info on your entry.
  • Shares are gifts from the foundation to support you. They are not payment for services and no work is expected in return.
  • We publish the total raised, the number of performers, and the per-person amount when the drive closes.

The fine print

  • Beyond Earth Foundation reviews every entry and may decline or remove any entry that does not meet these rules, is duplicated, or is not from the performer named. Incomplete entries, including missing proof, do not hold a spot in line.
  • Beyond Earth Foundation board members, staff, and their immediate families are not eligible.
  • Voter's Choice NYS contestants and past grant recipients are welcome and eligible.
  • If a share cannot be delivered within 30 days of payout after reasonable attempts to reach you, it returns to the foundation's general artist fund.
  • Your private details (legal name, email, phone, payment handle) are used only to run this drive and are never shown publicly.

Beyond Earth Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Gifts to the Holiday Wishlist Fund are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law and are distributed at the foundation's discretion under the equal-share rule above. Questions? Donations@BeyondEarthFoundation.org
