Eligibility & what we fund
Beyond Earth Foundation provides one-time grants to drag artists across New York State. Please review the guidelines below before applying.

This is a brand-new program, and our board's first official grant review will take place in January 2027, with award decisions announced by March 2027. You are welcome to apply at any time, but please expect a wait before awards are made. If you have already applied, your request has been received and will be considered in this first review. Thank you for your patience as we get this program off the ground.
Who can apply
- Drag artists and aspiring drag artists based in New York State.
- Applicants must be 18 years or older.
- No experience required — new artists may apply for start-up materials to begin their craft.
Grant amounts
- Grants range from $100 to $5,000, awarded on a one-time basis.
- Requested amounts are not guaranteed; awards depend on available funds.
- Larger requests may require additional vetting, such as an interview or proof of production or purchase.
Review schedule & deadlines
- Our first review round begins in January 2027, with the first awards announced by March 31, 2027. Applications submitted before then will be held and considered in this first round.
- After that, applications are reviewed by our board quarterly, with grants awarded on March 31, June 30, September 30, and December 31.
- To be considered for a given cycle, your application must be submitted at least 30 days before that grant date — otherwise it rolls to the next quarter.
- Applications that are denied will receive a reason and are welcome to reapply in a future cycle.
How funds can be used
- Funds may be used for drag-related purposes and expenses, as described in your application.
- Receipts may be requested at any time to verify purchases. Failure to provide them when asked may affect your eligibility for future grants.
